Procrastination is not laziness, It is something bigger and more dangerous than that, A lot of people think that they are lazy when they were feeling procrastination, At that times the reason behind this is they have many things in common among them.lots and lots of times in our life when we intend to do something our mind tells us to do that but we feel that something is stopping us from performing that thing, We intend to do and that condition is exactly what we call procrastination that stops us from doing things which we want to do.
We make decisions about doing something make plans around that decision and wait for the right time to do it but when the time comes there is a lot of thought developing in our minds about doing that thing or not. All of a sudden we start thinking about the consequences and risks related to that thing and we start feeling a bit negative vibe according to that thing.
Truly a lot of us suffer from this. if you can't resist that urge of not to do anything it starts to become a habit and if anyone's procrastination level gets so high that it becomes a habit that will bring a lot of trouble, Regrets, and suffering within that person's life.
Sadly a lot of us suffer from it and the tragedy about it is that we all suffer from this but no one considers it as a problem. Also, many people in our society think a habit of procrastinating is a normal thing they think that they should not be doing a lot of things and let others work and do things on their own.
There are a lot of ways to take yourself out of this state of mind and some of them that I find most effective is as.
Listening to the right type of music
A lot of times listening to the right type of music can help you in so many ways that you can't even think about and one of them is in the condition of procrastination. By listening to the right type of music you self-motivate yourself to do the things which your mind is refusing to do.
Think about forgiving yourself for procrastination in past
Lots of people can't forgive themselves for the procrastination that they have had in the past and for the time they have wasted doing it. Try to start thinking about forgetting about the past and forgive yourself for what you have done to yourself.
GO with the flow
Try to complete the tasks as they rise up and don't let them pile on you as a burden.
Reward your self
Set small rewards for you after a task according to the task, If it's big then the award should also be big.
It will be very good if you realize or even start to think about realizing this and there is no shame if you realize that you are doing something wrong because when you realize it you will probably stop it or at least you will know about what you are doing wrong and try to correct it as much as you can.
